Patrice Adams is a doctoral prepared Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate evidence-based care. Patrice is committed to empowering her patients through education and communication to foster individualized treatment plans to help achieve their wellness.
Patrice has over 24 years of experience working in various fields of nursing including emergency medicine and cardiac and medical surgical intensive care units as a registered nurse. Patrice earned a Master of Science degree in nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2014 and has spent the past decade serving in family medicine—primarily with underserved populations, ensuring access to comprehensive healthcare.
Most recently, Patrice completed the Post-Masters Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Liberty University. Her experience in primary and psychiatric care allows her to integrate a comprehensive approach to address the correlation between physical and mental wellbeing.
Patrice is passionate about supporting individuals managing anxiety and depression through talk therapy, mindfulness, healing practices, and preventive care. She firmly believes that access to quality mental health care is foundational to a healthier, more balanced life.
